With the success of our very first branch on Smithdown road back in 2006, and the trendy expansion onto the famous Lark Lane, it was only a matter of time before we hit Liverpool’s city centre. what better place than the one and only Bold Street!
Bold street has transformed over the years and has definitely kept itself well up to date in Liverpool’s food scene. with more and more places opening on bold opening on bold street, offering food from around the globe it truly is a cultural hotpot with a plethora of places to visit such as Leaf, Backchich, Mowgli and of course …. Raggas!
The project took us about 6 weeks to complete. Transforming the old Cafe 53 into Liverpool’s trendiest Caribbean joint! we brightened it up with our bold signature colours and Caribbean decor.
We have shortened the food menu but are now offering more specials giving you the oppurtunity to try out new flavours. You can still find all the favourites such as Ackee and Saltfish, Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat. We also now have a Rum Bar! Fully loaded with Rums from all over the Caribbean such as Wray & Nephew, Goslings, Appletons and much more.
The response we’ve had from the general public has been phenomenal to say the least! We’ve had footballers such as Liverpool’s Jordon Ibe, we’ve had food critics from the Liverpool Echo who gave us a fantastic review and we’ve had really good support from the guys over at Independent Liverpool offering you 10% off our meals with their discount card.
We look forward to having you over for something to eat and a glass of rum (or 2) so please take care and Jah Bless!
